Favorable and stable epizootic situation is observed in Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of 2013. Deputy Director of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety Dzhanibek Sutanov told 24.kg news agency .
According to him, “the main thing is that there was not a single case of murrain in the republic,” “Other diseases have been timely localized. Foot-and-mouth disease vaccine is being distributed all over the republic. Farmers are provided with rabies and anthrax vaccines. Man part of the vaccine was produced in Russia,” Dzhanibek Sultnov said.
As it was reported earlier, the state annually allocates funds for vaccination of animals against six diseases: brucellosis, foot- and- mouth disease, plague, anthrax, rabies and echinococcosis. “In 2013 about 44 million soms was provided for this purposes, which is 3.5 million less than in 2012.
